In late January, incoming US Ambassador to Hungary PETER TUFO spent the afternoon at the REC, getting to know the Center and meeting with REC senior management.

  The REC hosted the AARHUS EXECOM meeting, bringing to Szentendre the chief organisers of the Environment for Europe Conference to be held in June.

  On March 16th, the REC hosted a roundtable meeting with former U.S. Ambassador to Yemen and Lebanon MARK HAMBLEY to discuss climate change issues. Ambassador Hambley is currently the U.S. Representative to the Council on Sustainable Development.
