The REC's Communications Team is proud to announce that the REC's new T-shirts and 1998 calendars are ready for release. Both the T-shirts, begun last year, and the calendars, REC's first, show colorful images of endangered species found throughout the Central and Eastern European region - species which the REC has tried to help through its grants programs to regional NGOs involved with species protection. The REC hopes that showing off these animals, from the Bulgarian Brown Bear, to the Albanian Dalmation Pelican, to the Hungarian/Slovakian Imperial Eagle, will give them, and the NGOs that support them, a better chance for survival.
