ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT EXPERTS and teachers from the Central European University's (CEU) Summer School in Budapest visited the REC in July along with teachers from Manchester University. The group learned about REC's public participation and EIA projects, followed by a bit of wine tasting nearby at Szentendre's Wine Museum.
PAUL DICKINSON, Executive Director for the Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (PEAT), dropped by to talk about the REC and avenues for possible cooperation.
And a fact-finding team, led by USAID's MELODY BACHA from Washington, came to the REC as part of their regional tour to plan a new project.
