We received a copy of The Bulletin (Summer 1996) and we found many interesting and informative articles in it. We were rather surprised not to find a single article on environmental issues in Croatia. Instead, there was a small article in the Media Briefs section (Croatian update) which did not cover any kind of environmental topic. Was this a result of a lack of information from Croatia? If you do not have contact with environmental organizations in Croatia but would like to, we would be more than happy to send you their names and addresses. We can also provide you with information about our activities in the environmental field.

Editor: While it is not possible to adequately cover each of the - now fifteen - countries within the REC's mandate in each issue of The Bulletin, we do strive to provide a geographic balance over the course of the year. The REC does have a local office in Zagreb with contacts throughout the country, but input and information from other organizations and individuals concerned with the environment in CEE is always welcome.
