Junior Fellowship Program 1996
The Junior Fellowship Program allows young environmentalists from Central and Eastern Europe to spend one month at REC's head office in Budapest, where they will receive training in the management and development of nongovernmental organizations, establish contacts with environmentalists from other countries and learn about the REC's services.
During their stay, Junior Fellows get practical experience in proposal writing, presentation skills, networking, project and organizational management, computer applications and fundraising. They also have access to the REC's resources and can work on projects that benefit their own NGOs.
Junior Fellows come from a variety of backgrounds. Prospects should be between 20 and 30 years old, have experience working with environmental NGOs, and have a strong interest in improving the environment in the Region.
Participants should be from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine.
