Dead dogs and drinking water

The Students' Club for Environmental Protection at the Higher Institute of Forestry in Bulgaria is attempting to tackle a problem that is both urban and environmental: the increasing number of stray dogs in big European cities, including Sofia.

They are concerned with the Bulgarian government's answer to the problem - offering cash rewards for dead dogs - and are asking others for any information they might have regarding canine population regulation. They are also seeking suggestions on how they might improve drinking water quality in Bulgaria.

The Students' Club for Environmental Protection is a non-governmental ecological organization interested in saving rare species of flora and fauna.
