Junior Fellows
The Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe
is accepting applications for its 1995 Junior Fellowship Program.
Fellows spend four weeks at the REC Head Office in Budapest. They
get practical experience in project proposal writing, using computers,
giving presentations, networking, and project management. During the
fellowship, they have access to all REC resources and can do work for
their NGOs. The fellowship also includes trips to successful NGOs in
other countries.

COSTS OF THE PROGRAM
The REC will cover all costs for the program, including
accommodation, travel, and daily expenses.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
You should apply if you:
- have demonstrated a strong interest in environmental protection;
- are between 20 and 30 years old;
- are active in an environmental NGO;
- are a citizen of one of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and Ukraine;
- speak and write good English.
HOW TO APPLY
Send an application that includes the following information in
English:
- your motives for applying;
- your expectations of the fellowship;
- the activities on which you want to work, for your NGO or for yourself, during the one-month period;
- the fellowship periods that you are interested in (you are encouraged to apply for more than one period);
- your curriculum vitae in English.

- family name, first name(s);
- full mailing address;
- telephone number (to leave a message);
- fax number and e-mail address (if any);
- nationality;
- date and place of birth;
- education and field of specialization;
- knowledge of foreign languages (indicate good, fair or poor);
- working experience and other relevant experience;
- computer skills;
- name, address, telephone, and fax of your NGO;
- description of your activities in the NGO;
- information about your NGO.
